Economic Class

The Economic Class is a category of immigration to Canada that includes various programs designed to attract skilled workers and business people to the country. These programs are administered by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and are designed to help Canada meet its labor market and economic needs.

There are several programs within the Economic Class, including:

•    Federal Skilled Worker Program: This program is for skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. To be eligible, you must have at least one year of work experience in a skilled occupation (National Occupational Classification skill level 0, A, or B), and meet certain language, education, and other requirements.
•    Federal Skilled Trades Program: This program is for skilled tradespeople who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. To be eligible, you must have at least two years of work experience in a skilled trade (National Occupational Classification skill level B), and meet certain language, education, and other requirements.

•    Canadian Experience Class: This program is for temporary foreign workers or international students who have graduated from a Canadian educational institution and have Canadian work experience. To be eligible, you must have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada, meet certain language requirements, and meet other eligibility criteria.

•    Provincial Nominee Program: This program allows provinces and territories in Canada to nominate individuals who want to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a specific province or territory. Each province and territory has its own eligibility criteria and selection process for the Provincial Nominee Program.

If you are interested in immigrating to Canada through the Economic Class, you will need to meet the specific requirements of the program you are interested in and complete the appropriate application process.
