Business Visitor
As a business visitor, you can come to Canada to conduct business activities without the need for a work permit. Business activities include attending business meetings, negotiating contracts, and participating in trade shows or conferences.
To be eligible to come to Canada as a business visitor, you must meet certain requirements, such as:
1. Having a valid passport
2. Having a letter of invitation from a Canadian company (if applicable)
3. Having adequate financial support for your stay in Canada
4. Having a return ticket or the means to purchase one
It's important to note that as a business visitor, you are not allowed to work in Canada. This means you cannot receive any wages or salary from a Canadian source, and you cannot provide any services to a Canadian company or organization.
To come to Canada as a business visitor, you will need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This typically involves completing an online application form and submitting it to IRCC, along with supporting documents such as a passport, proof of financial support, and a letter of invitation (if applicable). You may also need to provide biometric information, such as fingerprints and a photograph.
If your application is approved, you will receive a TRV that will allow you to enter Canada as a business visitor. The TRV will be valid for a specific period of time, and you will need to leave Canada before it expires.
